And I do think that sour apple is a component of the overall flavor, but it’s definitely not the only flavor. So, what DOES it taste like? That’s… hard to say… *goes in for some more sips* As I say, definitely sour. This is definitely not just Thrashed Apple but fuzzy white. When I first read that online, I was like, “Damn, I wish I had some Thrashed Apple to try it against.” That isn’t necessary. I’m not exactly getting Thrashed Apple, though. Last year’s was apparently strawberry cotton candy (I’d guessed something like strawberry Starburst). The previous two Voo-Dew flavors I found to be rather close. I’m getting more mixed berry tones from it. I can say that in at least scent, it doesn’t remind me at all of Thrashed Apple. Ok, so last night, a person online I saw said that it was sour apple flavor and my mind immediately went to Thrashed Apple. ![]() If you want to try the soda before you read what I think about the flavor, stop now. It’s not perfectly clear like a Sprite, but just more like White Out (Canadian or otherwise). But also, we kinda knew since all Voo-Dews so far have been a sort of fuzzy white. Clear 20oz bottle kinda lets us know what we’re in for already. This is the 4th time I’m doing one of these reviews and I can’t wait.īut before I can try and guess what this year’s flavor is, let’s get to the pour. Voo-Dew is why I started doing these Dew Reviews to begin with. And a relatively new tradition, we get a new Voo-Dew from Mountain Dew. ![]() Some people think that pumpkin spice is overdone, but I love it. We get Reese’s pumpkins (the best kind of Reese’s). ![]() Welcome back, everyone, to a new Dew Review.
